A web application covering the full operational cycle of an agricultural company — from automated delivery registration, through a product testing laboratory and production, to analytics and administration. It replaced scattered systems and Excel spreadsheets, integrating with Insert Subiekt and Gratyfikant.
Company description
A leading producer of selected agricultural products in Poland. For many years, the company has developed its processes based on accumulated experience. The company has many suppliers of agricultural produce used as semi-finished goods for its own agricultural production. Products are sold nationwide and abroad. The company operates across several locations.
Problem
- Proprietary processes developed over years, managed in Excel spreadsheets or transferred via files — no automatic data flow, risk of data loss or accidental modification
- Most processes handled by independent, disconnected systems acquired throughout the company's growth — no integration, human errors when transferring data, limited control over employee access to data
- Limited ability to introduce new ideas into internal processes due to lack of appropriate software
- Desire to have only the functionality needed by the company without unnecessary extras and large system deployments — employee resistance to change, high licence fees for large systems
- Need for future integration of large systems with programmes already woven into existing processes — high costs
